Online crochet works best when the learner can see, repeat and apply the movement.
The learning model is intentionally simple: watch a clear demonstration, practise the movement, use it in a project, ask when stuck, then move forward.

Recorded lessons remove the pressure of keeping up with a live room. Pause, replay and compare your hands to the demonstration.
Practice with a purpose
A small amount of focused practice is usually more useful than collecting more tutorials. Each session should have one clear skill to reinforce.
Progression
You always know what comes next. Foundations first, then projects, then specialities like amigurumi, pattern reading and garments.
