Terms of service
Plain terms for buying and using Crochet University. Last updated August 2026.
Who you are dealing with
Crochet University is operated by [Registered entity name], [Registered address].
What you are buying
A licence to access the course, pattern or membership you purchased, for your own personal use. Kits are physical goods sold to you outright.
Course access is for one person. Sharing your sign-in link, re-uploading videos, or redistributing patterns ends the licence without a refund. Patterns may be used to make items you sell — that is the point of them — but the pattern files and videos themselves may not be resold or given away.
Your account
We sign you in with a single-use link rather than a password. Keep it to yourself; anyone with the link can reach your account until it is used or expires.
Payment
Prices are in Indian Rupees and include GST unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed by our payment partner; we never see or store your card or UPI credentials.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Where a mandate is used, you receive a notification at least 24 hours before each charge and can cancel from your UPI app, your bank, or your account.
Refunds
Set out in full on our refunds page, which forms part of these terms.
What we promise, and what we don’t
We promise the material is ours, accurate to the best of our knowledge, and taught properly.
We do not promise that you will earn money. Where courses cover selling handmade goods, any figures shown are examples or the results of specific named students, not a forecast of what you will earn. What you make depends on your products, your prices, your market, your costs and the time you put in — none of which we control.
Content you post
If you share photos or a review, you keep ownership. You give us permission to show it on our site and social channels, and we ask before featuring anything prominently. Tell us to take something down and we will.
Ending things
You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend access for sharing credentials, redistributing content, abusive behaviour towards staff or other students, or fraudulent payment.
Liability
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise our liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Indian law, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction.
